Old Back Nine Golf Course at Mountain High is a Public 9 hole golf course located in Bend, Oregon.
The course first opened for play in 1990 as an 18-hole golf course. The course became a 9-hole course in 1999. The designer was Jan Ward.
The original layout played to a par-72 and a maximum distance of 6,656 yards. The Old Back Nine Golf Course plays to a par 36. From the back tees, the course plays to 2,882 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,295 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 470 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 131 yards from the back tees.

Love the course.
However, seems there is often a however, our most recent visit to the course was somewhat less than ideal due to the attitude of the pro-shop gate keeper. He was incredibly rude. We had golfed twice before with a good rate and this staff member told us absolutely not, he would not give us the rate we had previously paid! To add insult to injury, previously we had been allowed tp play a second loop 9 holes for no additional charge, but this time we were required to pay extra to play a double-loop 18. This would have been hard to take under the best of circumstances (changing the rate rules) but he wasn't even nice at all about the situation :(
